Located between Rochefort and Saintes, the Lapidiales are located on an adapted site where art reigns supreme. This site offers sculptors from all over the world a perpetual playground. Everyone has their place and the right to embellish the work of their predecessors.
The concept of the Lapidiales of Port d'Envaux
The Lapidiales association was created in 2000 based on an idea by Alain Tenenbaum. This jack-of-all-trades animates his life between sculptures and cinema. He then had the idea of creating a unique place in France where sculptors from all horizons meet for a moment in the Carrière des Chabossières in Charente-Maritime.
Themes that meet
For sculpture lovers, workshops, parties and theme days are organized throughout the year. The achievements allow to discover a country in its own right. Every year, a new theme is defined for sculpting in this timeless place.

The schedules to visit the Lapidiales near Saintes
The particularity of this open-air work of art is its free access all year long. Nevertheless, if you wish to admire the sculptors in full action of their trade, you will have to come on the spot between May and September.
Participate in the sculpture workshops of the Lapidiales
Every week, between May and September, it is possible to take part in the workshops organized by the association. The stone and tools are provided. You only need to bring your picnic.

- 1 day : 50 € ;
- 2 days : 80 € ;
- 3 days : 120 € ;
- 4 days : 150 € + annual membership fee
